A database needs a source

Names and images can be copied incorrectly when a catalog grows from community spreadsheets. A trustworthy record explains where its identity came from and whether an image is authorized, pending review or a placeholder. This is especially important for a new card game with multiple product announcements.

Read the distinction carefully

PalTCG can source catalog facts from the official Palworld Official Card Game website while remaining an independent product. That wording describes provenance; it does not claim that PalTCG is operated by Pocketpair or Bushiroad. The distinction should remain visible in product copy, disclosure and legal pages.

Prefer missing data to false precision

If an image or market snapshot is unavailable, a placeholder or pending state is more honest than a fabricated value. Collectors can still search, organize and compare the published catalog. Provenance makes future corrections easier because each record has a reason for being present.
