Prepare for Price Alerts Before Market Data Goes Live
Set up a useful wishlist and notification habit now so price alerts can be enabled safely after an approved market source is connected.
Start with a real want
Price alerts should answer a decision you genuinely intend to make. Add a precise card variant, desired quantity and a target that reflects your budget. Avoid setting alerts for every card; a small list is easier to review and less likely to create notification fatigue.
Wait for eligible evidence
An alert should only use a published snapshot with acceptable confidence and freshness. If the market is pending, there is no valid estimate to compare with your target, so PalTCG keeps the control unavailable. This is a product dependency, not a reason to buy Pro solely for a feature that is not active.
Keep data after a downgrade
When alerts are eventually active, a downgrade should pause excess alerts rather than delete them. That preserves intent and lets a collector resume the most important alerts after returning to Pro or reducing the active set.
