Export for portability

An export is useful when you want a backup, a binder inventory or a trade preparation list. The PalTCG Pro export includes set code, card number, card name, variant key, rarity, language, finish, quantity, trade quantity, cost, currency, note and timestamps.

Store it like private data

CSV files can contain acquisition costs and private notes. Save them in a private location, avoid uploading them to public spreadsheets and delete old copies that no longer serve a purpose. Do not send a full export to a trade partner when a small list is enough.

Check the import assumptions

A CSV is a portable record, not an automatic merge contract. If you move data to another tool, verify whether it expects minor currency units, whether it supports variants and how it handles duplicate rows. Keeping the original export unchanged gives you a reliable reference when a conversion goes wrong.
